BTFY Bakuchiol Oil Serum
Deeply penetrates the skin, repairing the epidermis' defensive lipid barrier, fighting collagen depletion, ageing signs, and hyperpigmentation. A potent formulation with bakuchiol, a plant-derived, non-irritant alternative to retinol and ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, a lipid-soluble form of vitamin C. A highly effective antioxidant for an ultra-smooth, brighter complexion.
HOW IT WORKS
Bakuchiol is a plant-derived active celebrated for its retinol-like benefits without the harsh side effects. It stimulates collagen production and enhances skin renewal, helping improve texture, elasticity and brightness.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
- Bakuchiol
- Propolis Extract
- Liquid vitamin C (Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate)
- Jojoba Oil
- Rosehip Oil
- Calendula Flower Extract
Bakuchiol – A plant-based alternative to retinol, the first of its kind of natural origin. Bakuchiol reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improves elasticity. Bakuchiol is stable in sunlight, and it does not increase the skin’s sun sensitiveness. It has antioxidant properties, nourishes, soothes, and brightens the skin and it evens skin tone without peeling, redness or irritation commonly associated with retinol use. Also, Bakuchiol is a great alternative to retinol for pregnant women looking to maintain their skincare routine without compromising safety for themselves or their babies.
Liquid vitamin C (ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate) – a stabilised oil-soluble vitamin C derivative that exhibits excellent percutaneous absorption and effectively converts into free vitamin C in the skin, increasing UV photoprotection, helping to reduce sun damage, and lightening dark spots and discolorations.
Certified organic rosehip oil (Rosa eglanteria oil) – Rosehip is known as the healing oil as it is rich in antioxidants (vitamins A, C and lycopene) and essential fatty acids and as such is able to help lock moisture into the skin.
Propolis — A powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory flavone that calms irritated skin, supports healing and defends against photoageing.

How does Bakuchiol compare to Retinol?

Bakuchiol provides similar benefits without the harsh side effects, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
What are the benefits of using Bakuchiol Oil Serum?
Bakuchiol Oil Serum offers several benefits, including reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, protecting the skin from oxidative stress, improving skin tone, reducing hyperpigmentation, and promotes cell turnover, leading to a smoother and more even skin texture.
How do I incorporate Bakuchiol Oil Serum into my skincare routine?
Cleanse: Start with a clean face by using our Gentle Honey Cleanser are part of your regular skincare routine.
Apply Bakuchiol Oil Serum: Use a few drops of Bakuchiol serum and gently pat it into your skin. This step should come after cleansing and toning, as serums are typically lightweight and should be applied before heavier products.
Moisturise: Follow up with your moisturizer to lock in the serum and keep your skin hydrated.
Is it safe to use Bakuchiol Serum in the sun?
Yes, you can use Bakuchiol on your face during sunlight. Unlike retinol, Bakuchiol does not increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun, making it suitable for daytime use. However, it's always a good practice to apply sunscreen during the day to protect your skin from UV rays.
Is Bakuchiol Oil Serum pregnant safe and safe for both the pregnant woman and the developing baby?
