Collection: Oily

Oily skin (oiliness) occurs when the sebaceous glands in the skin produce too much sebum. The waxy, oily substance called Sebum protects and hydrates the skin naturally. Sebum is essential for keeping the skin healthy. However, too much sebum can lead to oily skin, clogged pores, and acne. Also, too much washing of the face can cause an increased production in sebum.

BTFY's skincare range for oily skin contains natural Australian ingredients like; Australian Lemon Myrtle oil - commonly used in the treatment of acne breakouts and oily skin, leaving the skin with a fresh lemony scent. Also containing Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is known for improving excess sebum production in the skin and balancing natural oil secretion levels, making is very useful for oily and combination skin types.
